Breakfast Doodle: Grape Encounter

The tiny speck is a grape seed. :-)

I love creating found object doodles and post them on Instagram"Found Object Art" gallery on Flickr, Pinterest, Tumblr  and in my Found Object Art portfolio.

Japanese Reflection for #inktober

Title: "Japanese Reflection." Created this as my first ‪#‎inktober‬ piece. The Japanese figurine was a gift from my mom to my father years ago. In addition to other differences, the girl in the ink reflection is holding a book instead of a fan. :-)

My mom loved to read, though most of the books she read were in Japanese.

Jonathan Auxier, popcorn, pickles and board games

Yay, got to meet one of my favourite authors last night: Jonathan Auxier, who wrote THE NIGHT GARDENER. And I stole some of his popcorn to make the doodle above.

Jeff, Jonathan and I played some board games at the new Snakes & Lattes College street location:

and I also doodled with a pickle (S&L's housemade pickles are EXCELLENT):

That is all.
