Created for Illustration Friday. This week's theme: "Mirror." I decided to use today's sketch to experiment with Corel Painter 12. I gave up on Painter a couple of years back because the update was too crash-y for me and I needed to work on my book illustrations, but I do miss some of the painterly effects.
I did the inking and woodcut effect in Photoshop and then imported it into Painter, used the pastel brush to add color texture.
Created for Illustration Friday's theme this week: "Crooked."
Because of all the I'm Bored excitement, I've been neglecting my Daily Sketches project...and I've been noticing the effects. No matter what else is going on, I -need- to keep drawing for the pure fun of it! Illustration Friday is a great motivational prompt.
My Daily Sketch today is for Illustration Friday. This week's topic: "Identical."
