Birthday Doodles

As a warm-up to my day's drawing recently, I've done some birthday sketches instead of my regular Daily Doodles, just for the fun of it. Here are a couple of examples: both were done very quickly and just for posting on that person's Facebook Wall, and in each case I've tried to incorporate some aspect of their latest book or website logo.

Daily Sketch: A Birthday Doodle For My Friend Seanan

I'm a zombie fan as well as a Seanan McGuire fan, which inspired this Birthday Doodle for Seanan today. I loooove Seanan's Newsflesh trilogy (published under her pen name Mira Grant) and am also a fan of her music and art. You can hear my flute on her STARS FALL HOME CD (Track: "Dorothy").
