Comfort zones

One thing I've learned that has helped me in so many areas of my life: That it's good to push myself beyond my comfort zone on a regular basis.

Sometimes I fall flat on my face. Many times, actually. But sometimes I don't and then wonderful things happen, and my comfort zone gets a bit bigger.

I love your post about stepping out of your comfort zone! I am a newly published author, but I have been writing ever since I can remember. Trying to market my book has really been more of a giant leap rather than a step beyond my comfort zone. I am not very tech savvy to say the least, and there is SO much to learn. I have to admit that I love writing, but this aspect of the field, eh, not so much! Is there any advice that you might be willing to share with a newbie? For instance, what are your thoughts on using a publicity agency? Have you used one? If so was it worth it?
