Urban Tapestry sites (finally) being updated :-)

I've updated the Urban Tapestry MySpace page with some new songs since we can now post 10 songs. I'm also starting to add UT songs with lyrics and background info to the official Urban Tapestry site, blog-style. Whenever possible, I'll also include a link to a place online where you can hear the song. Our MySpace page includes a song from our Very First album (now out of print, was only available on cassette): "I'll Be Fine", one of Jodi's songs.

I also need to upload more songs to the FilkArchive soon, include Urban Tapestry's rendition of Heart Of The Mountain (Phil Mills has kindly given his permission). Hoping to do that this afternoon...

FilKONtario prep plus a movie trailer

Above: trailer for a movie that Allison's husband (yes, the fellow with whom I did my one and only karoke stint last year) has been working on. Can't wait to see the full feature. :-)

Allison, Jodi & I weren't able to get together in person last night for our Urban Tapestry practice so we got together in Gmail Chat instead. Our virtual meeting was surprisingly productive as we exchanged music files, worked on a couple of new songs together, did more prep for our Toastmaster/Filk Waif duties at FilKONtario this spring. It's going to be sooo fun!

You ARE all going to FKO, aren't you?
