New P.O. Box address

snailmail

For those who sometimes send stuff to my P.O. Box address, my new address is:

1543 Bayview Ave, P.O. Box 116
Toronto, ON
Canada M4G 3B5

The new P.O. Box is easier for me to access, so I'll be checking it much more regularly than the other address...at least once a week instead of once every few months. :-\

Lissa's cake

picture-1

Check out the cake that my friend's mom made for her birthday! The design is based partly on a Livejournal icon I made for Lissa ages ago:

I'm hugely tickled that something I drew got put on a cake. Lissa has the coolest mom.

If you tried to get into Blatherings earlier today and couldn't, by the way, it's because I stupidly let my Blatherings.com expire (!). Yes, I know. Everything should be back now, I think.

Back from NYC

At the SCBWI conference in NYC

I had a wonderful, WONDERFUL time in New York. Many thanks to our friend Arline for hosting Jeff and me, and I enjoyed hanging out with Arline, Harry, Jean and Jeff before and after the SCBWI convention.

As for the convention itself -- WHOA. I am -so- going to attend this convention every year if I can possibly swing it. I found it incredibly inspirational in many ways, and everyone was super-friendly. I'll be posting a more detailed report in Inkygirl: Daily Diversions For Writers soon.

After a week of jury duty and our NYC trip, I am WAY behind in e-mail so will be spending the next while catching up. If you've written and haven't received a response, that's probably why; I hope to catch up by the end of the week. If you haven't heard from me by Friday and are still expecting an answer, please feel free to nag me!
