novelwork

My friend Reid, 20+ years ago. (My brother's
in the background)

I started work on my novel, woohoo! Because I will be relying heavily on ViaVoice, I am changing my strategy from what I had planned originally, spending much more time in prep work. Yesterday I started by starting to work on detailed character sheets and a plot outline; I'm using Notetaker. Spent a fair amount of time programming in ViaVoice macros so I wouldn't have to manually spell out character names and places every time I use them.

Allison has inspired me to sign up for the 6th Annual Idita-Walk Challenge 2004. On the official Web site:

"Welcome to the Idita-walk 2004 Homepage!!!† An event to promote physical fitness in the spirit of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race.† The Iditarod Sled dog race is 1049 miles long from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska.† To complete the Idita-walk, walk 30 minutes a day for 35 days between February 1, 2004 to March 21, 2004 for a total of 1049 minutes.† You can log your minutes anywhere!"

I plan to run as well as walk. :-)
