tina turner trees

Today's pic is courtesy Beckett Gladney. She took it during a road trip (with Amanda Snyder) to Santa Cruz, highly amused by my fascination with palm trees. I love palm trees, mainly because they helped prove that I was somewhere far away from Toronto, in a foreign country! :-)

Had fun yesterday. Took the afternoon off and hung out with Allison at Centre Island. We took the ferry across and spent the day looking at the farm animals, going on the skyrider thingy ride, eating popcorn & snow cones, sitting by the edge of the lake in sun and gabbing, eating mini donuts & cherry blasters, people-watching, and so on. In the evening, Jodi joined us and we went to see "Ever After". I loved the movie, Allison liked it, Jodi was okay on it. I know it was schmaltzy and cliched in parts, but I'm a sucker for fairy tales. :-)

UT practice tonight. We'll be practising our parts to Dark Man...Puzzlebox has kindly invited us to help them with this track on their new album. We're going to be laying our tracks next Thursday in a recording studio.
