grocery gateway follow-up

Finally updated my Geeky School Picture page,
for those interested. Feel free to submit geeky photos of your own! Please note that these pics must be geeky SCHOOL photos. :-)

Jeff and I went to the Horseshoe Tavern on Queen St. last night to see a friend's band perform...lots of fun!

Grocery Gateway called today to confirm my registration and give me access to their service (no membership fee, I think they just wanted to make sure they weren't delivering groceries to a non-existent address). So I did some online shopping today. Much better interface than Food For You, and I like the fact that you can see a small picture of the product you're buying. You just click on the image, and it's added to your virtual shopping cart. A running total at the bottom of the screen keeps me informed about how much I'm spending.

I ran into several error 400s, however, and ended up having to phone the company since I couldn't get my order processed. The guy on the phone (Steve) was courteous and got my order through, but said that the error was likely on my end, not his. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and see what happens next time. He did take down info, though, and said he'd investigate it. In any case, my groceries will supposedly be delivered tomorrow afternoon. I purposely ordered a wide range of groceries (fresh produce to frozen goods to canned) to see what kind of condition they would arrive in.

Crossing my fingers to hope that this online shopping service works out! They deliver to the Greater Toronto Area. I'll let you know how it works out...
