tamagotchi

Allison pointed out that Tamagotchis have been around for a long time, and where have I been that I've never heard of them! Jeff now has a pseudo-Tamagotchi on his Pilot (handheld electronic notebook) but it's losing weight...I don't think he's a very good pet owner. Leaving for THE SECOND CONCERTO this morning, wooHOO! We had a work-intensive practice, going over our concert sets, some new songs, and our performance workshop. Have a great weekend everyone, and hope to see some of you in New Jersey.

ginger cookies

Well, we're back! Met so many cool new people, had an amazingly wonderful time in New Jersey...report and photos coming soon. For now, I just have to send a huge THANK YOU to The Second Concerto concom for making the con such a success...Allison, Jodi and I had tons of fun. More news: thanks to Lissa Allcock, I'm hooked on a new food product. Walker's Chocolate-Covered Ginger Cookies. I have a horrible sneaking suspicion that these might only be available in the UK, in which case I'm doomed. =:-O

amber

Today is >Scott Snyder's birthday! Feel free to send him birthday greetings. Rand and I have decided to cowrite an online literary masterpiece called (at least this week): Amber: A Young Woman's Descent Into Unbridled Passion. More stuff coming to the UT site: Cartoon Wars (started at Concerto between Phil Allcock and me, to be continued transatlantically!), Allison's UT Second Concerto Report, photos from the con, and UT: The Comic Strip!
2:05:19 PM: Hey, just found it's Sherman Dorn's birthday, too! Happy birthday, Sherman!!

keycon prep

Good practice last night; we ran through our concert set for Keycon (Winnipeg, May 16-18). We're a bit worried for our friends in Winnipeg The Wet right now. My chives have sprouted! Site of the Day: Winnipeg Flood Info, which includes info on how to build a sandbag dike!. :-(

herb dilemma

Check out Gary Erlich's "Urban Tapestry Theme Song", first premiered at The Second ConCerto! For those who are dying to know how my herb garden is faring...my basil and chives are thriving, the dill and parsley are barely alive. And now suddenly I'm faced with a dilemma...after spending so much time nurturing these wee plants, how could I possibly EAT them?? Site of the day: Mayo Health Oasis - lots of useful health-related info and resources.
marketing, and technology.
