geek sotd

Had fun at the cottage with Jeff: napped, read two books, ate a lot. :-) Came back to find out that my Geeky School Photo Contest page has been chosen as Geek Site of the Day today! Sigmund and the other Sea Monkeys ® are thriving, though it's very clear now that a few of them are bullying about (and/or eating) the others. Time for another parental talk, I think. ONE WEEK UNTIL THE SECOND CONCERTO!!!

more sea monkeys

There are about 20 Sea Monkeys left in the container ranging from shrimpy (HAHAHA) to behemothical. There appears to be a gang of six big ones, and these are Sigmund (the biggest and meanest), Arthur Curry, Lettuce, Abdul The Destroyer, Frank (short for Frankly I'd
Rather Be In Paris Sipping Curacao), and Emily. Site of the Day:
Tamagotchi Page - apparently this virtual pet is all the rage in Japan, especially with young schoolgirls. It simulates a living, needy pet that requires feeding, attention, etc. etc.

tamagotchi

Allison pointed out that Tamagotchis have been around for a long time, and where have I been that I've never heard of them! Jeff now has a pseudo-Tamagotchi on his Pilot (handheld electronic notebook) but it's losing weight...I don't think he's a very good pet owner. Leaving for THE SECOND CONCERTO this morning, wooHOO! We had a work-intensive practice, going over our concert sets, some new songs, and our performance workshop. Have a great weekend everyone, and hope to see some of you in New Jersey.
