Actually updated the UT Comic again. I've discovered that I'm much more likely to keep this updated if I do the comics by hand and then scan them rather than create each one in Painter. As a result, the comics aren't going to look as polished (since I'm basically scribbling them out same as I would at conventions), but at least they'll be updated more than once a year. I quite like my Paperport...I've created a new scan setting called "Cartoon" which basically scans at 1-bit, 200 DPI, directly into Painter (so I can add the header, etc.). I'm going to Internet Expo at the Toronto Conference Centre this afternoon. Sent out Inklings today...this issue features "A Beginner's Guide To Horror" by Paula Guran (in honour of approaching Hallowe'en, of course), and an advice column by Lee Wardlaw (children's book author).
