winter rose

Did some babysitting yesterday. Annie seems to be going through a facial experimentation phase these days...my favourite is her "ninety-five-year-old man about to puke" face. Finished WINTER ROSE last night, quite liked it. Major windy rainstorm in Toronto today! Better than the snow flurries some of the weather stations were predicting, though. Made a half-hearted attempt to clean the apartment before Scott visits tomorrow. I think it'll be all right as long as he doesn't look in the front hall closet (!). Got our dishwasher replaced today...our old one was dying and was starting to sounds like a horde of hyperactive armoured hamsters being slowly tortured to death on a corrugated steel roof. The racket didn't stop me from using it of course. THAT's how much I hate washing dishes. :-)
