Thanks to Symphony Space for inviting me to help celebrate Judy Blumesday in NYC earlier this month! See the Publishers Weekly report about Judy Blumesday.
Thanks to Constance Grady for her VOX article, "How the redesigned Judy Blume covers avoid nostalgia and embrace universal adolescent angst" and to Claire Cohen for her Telegraph article, "The 10 Amazing Modernised Judy Blume book covers you need in your life" and to Megan Cassidy and HER.ie for this post about the updated Are you There God? It's Me, Margaret cover)
---------------
In 2014, I was thrilled to illustrate ten Judy Blume classics being reissued by Atheneum Books For Young Readers/Simon & Schuster as chapter books (covers and interior pages) and middle grade novels (covers). You can read about how I became a Judy Blume illustrator and my history as a Judy Blume fangirl. Also see: Quill & Quire Q&A: Debbie Ridpath Ohi On Illustrating For Judy Blume and a Schu-Sharp Trifecta with a guest post and interview about my illustration process for the Judy Blume books.
I'll be gradually enhancing the following pages to include extra resource material and links, interesting facts and trivia, plus sketches and a peek into the illustration process for the covers and (for the chapter books) interior pages.
